Role Overview
We seek a Territory Manager to deliver category growth in all customers through effective planning, sales strategies, and commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a territory of customers to achieve mutual growth via flawless execution of customer plans and compliance to journey plan.
* Build strong relationships with store managers and grocery managers to influence inventory and display.
* Ensure customer awareness of new product developments and promotional plans, adhering to in-store standards.
* Deliver commercial calendar and business initiatives, bringing the sales strategy and channel blueprint to life in each customer.
* Drive sales opportunities using store scan data and business reviews, informing stakeholders of results through data analysis.
* Maintain appropriate use and maintenance of tools of trade, including vehicle, phone, iPad, and POS.
Qualifications:
* Able to understand the customer supply chain to influence On Shelf Availability.
* Skilled in identifying in-store sales growth opportunities and developing plans to improve in-store execution.
* Capable of interpreting and utilizing category facts in customer interactions.
* Effective in negotiating and resolving customer objections during sales presentations.
* Able to apply retail maths in selling situations or conversations with retailers.
