This role is an 8 on 6 off roster FIFO from Perth.Reporting to the Regional Manager Goldfields, you will play a key role in leading the operations and maintenance team, ensuring efficient processes, maintaining equipment, and achieving operational goals. This role requires strong leadership skills and technical expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the operations and maintenance team, setting goals and monitoring performance.Develop and implement efficient operational and maintenance processes.Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.Coordinate with other departments to achieve operational objectives.Identify and address issues that could impact operations or maintenance.Collaborate with external contractors when necessary for Major Maintenance and Specialised work.Your background A Class Electrical Licence -WAStrong leadership and team management skills.Technical expertise in operations and maintenance power generation, generating equipment and operating systems.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Good communication and interpersonal skills.About The TeamThe Operations & Maintenance team exist to safely operate APA Power, Transmission, Midstream and Network assets in an efficient and cost-effective manner to enable APA to achieve its business strategy and goals, extract maximum value from its assets, and deliver value for its customers.To help APA Securing Australia’s Energy Future, the Operations teams focus is on Our People, Operational Excellence and Creating Value.
