Responsibilities include managing an allocated caseload, assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments, interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life, mentoring and nurturing early career clinicians, and maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload, a pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills, experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists, and a genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
