The Arid Zone Research Institute Library Manager oversees library services and supports project officers in Alice Springs and Darwin. This permanent full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to research and industry development.

About the Role:
This is a key support role that plays a vital part in facilitating research and collaboration across the organisation. The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including cataloguing, shelving and maintaining library collections.
2. Provide high-level administrative support to project officers, including preparing reports, managing correspondence and coordinating meetings.
3. Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Degree in Library Science or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
