Taubmans is seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant to join their team in Darwin on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic and inspiring workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide outstanding customer service and establish strong relationships with customers
* Collaborate with the Store Manager and Team Members to drive sales growth and improve store performance
* Tinting and mixing paint, preparing paint drums for dispatch, arranging orders for delivery, and colour matching
* Support with product dispatching and storage, ensuring a well-organised warehouse environment
* Deliveries using the Store vehicle (where applicable)
* Maintain store appearance by merchandising and replenishing stock promptly
* Ensure store housekeeping standards are met, adhering to safety protocols at all times
The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience, a passion for delivering excellent customer service, and be comfortable with manual handling tasks including lifting heavy objects, operating equipment, and standing for extended periods.
A valid driver's license is essential, and a forklift license would be highly regarded but not mandatory. Previous paint experience is not necessary as training will be provided.
