We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our clients; Emergency Relief Services team, playing a vital role in helping people impacted by disasters seeking information and access to services.
Title: Disaster Response Hotline Operator
Pay Rate: $ $50.00ph
Location: Fremantle
Dates & Duration: Peak season runs from December - April. (Contract lengths throughout this time can vary)
Start & Finish Times: 8:00am - 4:00pm - Mon-Fri
Requirements: Applicants need to be available at short notice and be flexible to work short to medium contract lengths depending on disaster response requirements.
Primary Tasks:
* The Disaster Response Hotline plays a vital role in helping people impacted by disasters seeking information and access to services provided by the Emergency Relief Services team.
* As a DRH Officer, you facilitate communication with impacted persons to identify needs, coordinate services within ERS remit.
* Update case coordination details in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Key Skills/Experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Empathy and cultural awareness.
* Understanding of call centre operational systems or similar environment
* Ability to work under pressure
