The role involves taking briefs from clients, providing direction about Change Management services, and analysing business operations to understand potential impacts from change. You will meet and present to stakeholders, preparing business documents and slides, and propose tactics to manage organisational changes effectively.
As a Lead Change Specialist, you will execute plans, schedule, report on progress, raise risks and issues, maintain effective relationships, and provide support to recipients of change and business leaders during and after the project.
Typically, candidates for this role have 3-5 years of experience in Change Management roles, a Bachelor's degree or higher (often in Organisational Psychology, Communications/Journalism, Human Resources, Project Management, Applied/Behavioural Science), proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and PowerPoint, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to contribute to the Change Management Practice.
Essential attributes for managing change at this level include resilience, an inquisitive nature, empathy, problem analysis and solving, influencing and negotiating, and being an Australian citizen or permanent resident or having a visa with work rights.
