About the Role
This leading equipment supplier is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead production-focused projects across their advanced manufacturing operations. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring high‑quality outputs across Fabrication, Machining, Painting, and Project Assembly, while driving efficiency and meeting organisational and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver Production Department outputs aligned with organisational goals and commercial commitments.
* Plan, coordinate, and allocate resources to ensure efficient execution of all manufacturing activities.
* Oversee the creation of saleable, high‑quality commercial outputs that meet strict customer and industry standards.
* Contribute to organisational planning and strategic development, providing insights informed by deep manufacturing expertise.
* Maintain exceptional quality and workflow performance across fabrication, machining, painting, and assembly processes.
* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders who depend on precision, reliability, and fast turnaround times.
What you bring
* Proven project management experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
* Strong understanding of end‑to‑end production processes, resource planning, and workflow optimisation.
* Highly desirable: experience in drilling rig manufacturing, heavy equipment production, or hydraulics.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on problem-solving.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing project timelines, priorities, and resources effectively.
