Hays have partnered with one of Queensland's largest clinical teaching and research facilities who provide public health services for the Gold Coast and wider community.
**Your new role**
The UX Designer provides integral design services for digital projects, partnering and collaborating to implement improvements to increase usability and ease of access by the health service and our consumers.
This role will require expert knowledge and experience to lead the design, development and implementation UX Design; the skills to guide the development of implementation of new digital capabilities to support Gold Coast Health ambitions.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful as the UX Designer, you will have:
- Five or more years' experience in leading the delivery of digital architecture and delivering services to large, complex organisations preferably in the healthcare sector.
- A relevant degree or tertiary level qualifications in Information Technology, UX/UI Design experience or Computer Science would be well regarded.
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment:
- measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
- varicella (chicken pox)
- pertussis (whooping cough)
- hepatitis B
- COVID-19
**Responsibilities**:
- Digital Design Experience
- UX/UI Experience with customer facing digital assets
- Demonstrated success in improving the customer experience for a business
- Working with optimisation technologies and familiarity with user testing and analysis methods
- Understanding of design-thinking concepts, web standards and accessibility
- Ability to present findings and ideas to stakeholders
- Ability to work with technical teams to solve functional problems
- Portfolio of UX/UI work undertaken
