About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to clients who require support with personal care and daily tasks.
Our clients live in shared living environments where we promote autonomy and support residents around the clock. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for handling complex situations with empathy and composure, making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
* You will work closely with clients who use wheelchairs and have additional medical needs, ensuring they receive the necessary care and support.
* As part of our team, you will be expected to build positive relationships with clients, supporting their unique needs and promoting their independence.
Requirements
* Confident communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients from diverse backgrounds.
* Able to prioritize tasks and demonstrate problem-solving abilities, particularly in complex situations.
* Flexible and self-assured, with availability for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
* Holder of a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* Able to pass a National Criminal History Check.
* Full COVID vaccination status.
