Safety Partner – FIFO Murrin Murrin
Job SummaryThis role will be based in Murrin Murrin (WA) on an 8 & 6 FIFO roster flying out of Perth and will be key in delivering our new Safety Strategy and enhancing safety capability across the Aurizon organisation.
Reporting to the Principal Safety Partner you will be part of a high performing team providing expert advice and support to our bulk haulage team at the Murrin Murrin site. This role will see you partnering with our operational teams to identify, develop, and implement safety initiatives and compliance activities that uplift BU safety capability, capacity and performance.
Responsibilities
* Partner with operational teams to identify, develop, and implement safety initiatives and compliance activities.
* Identify key business challenges and opportunities and collaborate with corporate partners to design and deliver enterprise solutions.
* Monitor and review the effectiveness of safety policies, programs and processes using agreed measures and provide feedback for improvements.
Qualifications
* Experienced safety professional with a history in operational safety management.
* Influential at all levels, able to conduct courageous conversations with frontline leaders and serve as a trusted peer to the Safety Partnering Team.
* Proven success in working across a broad stakeholder group to translate enterprise strategies into business initiatives that deliver results.
* Expert knowledge of BU safety effectiveness, providing counsel and coaching to BU leadership teams to uplift safety capability.
