Your Role:
Lead and manage multiple premium residential landscape projects.
Oversee budgets from $0k to 500k (majority 150k–$300k).
Site visits, client & builder communication, quality control, and variations.
Work closely with experienced teams (no programming required).
Ensure quality, safety, timelines, and client satisfaction every step of the way.

Estimator / Project Manager

Overview: Looking to get off the tools? This may be your opportunity to transition to an office‑based role. We are seeking a motivated Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. We are a leading commercial landscape construction company based in the Northern Gold Coast region. With a commitment to delivering quality outdoor spaces, we specialise in commercial projects that redefine landscapes and enhance environments.

Responsibilities:

* Evaluate tender opportunities for suitability.
* Manage tender lifecycle from assessment to supervisor handover.
* Prepare accurate tenders for approval and submission.
* Conduct take‑offs and measure plans.
* Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, and builders.
* Develop site tracking/budget sheets from tendered information.
* Procure key items.
* Submit variations & monthly progress claims.
* Actively expand the client, subcontractor, and supplier base.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in estimating and project management within the commercial landscape environment highly desirable or in the field experience.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.

About the Role: Reporting to the General Manager – People, Culture & Safety – Hotels & Resorts, you'll be the key partner for General Managers and Heads of Departments across our Queensland and Northern Territory hotel portfolio. This highly operational role is ideal for someone with a can‑do attitude who thrives on being on the ground, solving problems, and working closely with hotel leaders and P&C Business Partners across states.

You'll drive strategic alignment, foster high-performance cultures, and lead initiatives that support our commercial goals while elevating the employee experience in a fast-paced, multi‑brand hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Embed and optimise Dayforce HRIS, streamline P&C processes, and support hotel openings and transitions.
* Align hotel operations with the Elevate P&C strategy, working closely with State Managers and GMs.
* Lead engagement initiatives, talent management, reward and performance frameworks, change management, and people communication strategies that enhance workplace culture.
* Champion recruitment, onboarding, and career development in collaboration with Talent Acquisition teams.
* Resolve and support grievances including case management, manage employment risks, and partner on WHS compliance and safety initiatives.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders including Talent, P&C, Payroll.

Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in a highly operational HR role, within hospitality or multi-site environments.
* Strong knowledge of employment relations, WHS, and HR systems (Dayforce experience a plus).
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the business.
* A proactive, solution‑focused mindset with the ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.
* Employment relationship experience including case and change management.
* Comfort working autonomously while collaborating across states and brands.
* A passion for empowerment, innovation, and team spirit—aligned with EVT's values.
