**Job Title:** Sales Representative
The Sales Representative role is a permanent full-time position based in Townsville. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating sales and growing the client base within the designated market area for industrial new and used machinery, representing brands such as JCB, Hyundai Construction Equipment, Ammann, ITR and others to the highest standard. This role is also responsible for professional end-to-end customer interaction throughout all phases of the sales process, always driving to ensure customer satisfaction and continued engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the sale of JCB, Hyundai Construction Equipment, Ammann, ITR and other products as per dealership agreements.
* Drive sales of products in line with dealership agreements.
* Build and maintain an accurate customer database and strong product knowledge, including used machinery valuation.
* Focus on solution selling by identifying customer needs and providing tailored product recommendations.
* Respond promptly to inquiries and quotes to secure sales; ensure accurate completion of all sales and finance paperwork.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Motor Vehicle - Sales Licence
* 2+ years of direct sales experience
* High level of ability to influence others through effective communication and sales techniques.
* Evidence of customer service skills and experience.
* Ability to negotiate and drive outcomes.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to learn, understand and demonstrate industrial machinery.
* Exceptional communication skills verbal and written.
