Position Overview:
As an Associate QA, you will assist in the quality control process for all PlaySide titles, supporting the QA team in maintaining the highest standards of gameplay experience. You will participate in testing, assist with defect tracking, and contribute to creating thorough test documentation for both live and upcoming releases. This role offers hands‐on experience and growth opportunities within a fast‐paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Assisting in the quality control of all PlaySide titles and contributing to the overall quality within the studio.
* Participating in ongoing testing of current and future releases.
* Helping to conduct and organize various test runs, including user acceptance tests, Beta & A/B testing.
* Assisting in triaging and maintaining defect lists for live and in‐development releases.
* Supporting the creation and maintenance of thorough test documentation for current and future titles.
* Researching current testing guidelines and processes within both the first‐party platforms and the industry as a whole.
What You Bring to the Table:
* High‐level gaming proficiency and mechanical skill (big bonus if you are good at RTS genre!)
* Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities while working on multiple projects.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly and seek guidance when needed.
* A general understanding of the game development pipeline.
* Think laterally and have a good understanding of games, how they work and the systems and design behind them.
* Have a can‐do with the ability to turn a negative into a positive, no problem is too great.
* And a passion for games.
