Our client is a global leader in manufacturing and gas handling solutions across sectors including power generation, oil and gas, waste water, metals, mining, infrastructure and transport. We are currently seeking a Site Administrator for a short term contract. This position will be mine site based close to Mt Isa with meals, accommodation and flights included.
The role:
* Track and file general site documents eg permits, inductions, requisitions, queries, schedules.
* Manage site activities and resources eg training bookings, travel booking, rentals Booking etc.
* Invoice processing eg checking timesheets vs invoice, equipment hire etc.
* Manage non-technical site activities (verifying and escorting deliveries, expedite signatures and assist with general administration that does not need additional resources)
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in a similar role working on a mine site
* Current coal board medical
* Drivers licence
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Commitment to safety and following policy and procedure
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal): must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy with a high level of cultural sensitivity
* Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and work both independently and in a team environment
* Ability to work under pressure while keeping a positive and result- driven attitude
* High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain high level of accuracy
* High level of PC literacy, especially MS Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer
