About your new job
Working in a small team, you will be responsible for:
1. Accurate and timely preparation and processing of general journal entries
2. Preparation of monthly financial accounts
3. Reconciling P&L and balance sheet accounts
4. Review expense line items and ensure they are properly accrued and coded
5. Analysis and commentary on expenses and legal entity performance
6. Review and update finance procedures and processes
7. Support the business in the execution of the annual audits and external reporting obligations
8. Assist in any ongoing projects where required
9. Any additional tasks as needed
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have exposure to the following:
1. Previous experience in a similar position – ideally from a high volume / high transaction background
2. Knowledge of Excel – intermediate to advanced level
3. Ability to work to a strict schedule and be results focused
4. Strong communication skills as well as attention to detail
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
6. Exposure to large ERP systems
7. Degree-qualified and ideally have started or are about to start CPA/CA studies
