Emergency Response Specialist
This is an opportunity to work as a vital component of a dynamic and collaborative health system, providing advanced emergency and non-emergency clinical care and patient transport across the state.
The Role:
* Provide an advanced level of pre-hospital clinical care to the community including the transport of patients by ambulance or other means.
* Deliver pre-hospital clinical care in accordance with approved clinical practice guidelines, independently or as part of a team.
* Maintain a prescribed level of knowledge in advanced ambulance care practices, including contemporary skills and knowledge in advanced life support and the correct application of ambulance equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attend to members of the community requiring clinical care and treatment via ambulance services.
2. Assess and manage patients' conditions during transportation, applying appropriate interventions as needed.
3. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Requirements:
* Registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia.
* Hold a Bachelor of Paramedic Science or equivalent qualification and relevant work experience.
* Current Driver Licence.
