This role offers a balanced lifestyle with access to quality schools, healthcare, and amenities, and stability away from FIFO or remote work.RolePosition: Bogger Operator – Underground MiningReporting to: Underground Shift SupervisorKey Responsibilities:Bogging of development heading production stopesLoading stockpiles to trucks and keeping trucks operating at full efficiencyBog out and clean faces; inspect for misfires and perform hosing down and scaling as requiredRemote bogging from open stopes using tele-remote systemsTram material from stockpilesMaintain all roads tidy and free from pooling water and hazardsManual and tele-remote bogging of production stopes to stockpilesAbout YouTo be successful you will possess:Willingness to relocate to Ballarat, Victoria3+ years underground mining experience, including hard rock techniques (watering, scaling, bogging)Initiative and a flexible approach to work with a high focus on qualityStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsAbility to operate Sandvik/Cat loaders and experience in production chargingCurrent Vic shot firing / Black ticket (advantageous)Valid C Class Driver's License and full Australian work rightsMandatory3+ years previous experience in underground mining as a Bogger operator – very high standard of safety focus and compliance with all safety policies and procedures required.
Must hold or obtain a Senior First Aid certificate.
Excellent attention to detail, team building and organisational skills, and excellent oral, listening and written communication skills.
