We are a well-established and growing construction company seeking an experienced Carpenter / Site Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled carpenter who can also confidently supervise sites and manage daily operations.
About the Role
You will be responsible for completing carpentry works while supervising on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform high-quality carpentry work
* Supervise daily site operations and trades
* Coordinate subcontractors and labour
* Read and interpret plans and specifications
* Ensure WHS compliance on site
* Maintain quality control and productivity
* Communicate with management, suppliers, and clients
* Keep sites clean, organised, and efficient
Skills & Experience
* Trade-qualified Carpenter
* Looking to step into a Leading Hand Role(preferred)
* Strong knowledge of residential construction
* Ability to run a site independently
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
* White Card (essential)
* Driver’s licence and own transport
* Reliable, motivated, and professional attitude
