**About the role
Permanent and temporary opportunities to work as part of a dental team and provide a high standard of efficient and appropriate assistance and support as needed in the treatment of Metro North Oral Health Services (MNOHS) patients.
About you
Ability to prepare instruments and materials utilised in a variety of dental procedures including knowledge and understanding of the stages within a dental procedure and the ability to pre-plan and adapt as treatment proceeds.
Knowledge and ability to use FDI Palmer Notation, dental specific language, and terminology. Process and mount radiographs. Understand the use of radiography and study models as diagnostic tools. Assist in the prevention, identification, and management of medical emergencies.
Knowledge of all relevant standards relating to the dental facility. Maintain contemporary knowledge of policies and procedures relating to the provision of dental assisting including medico-legal responsibilities, ethical practice, codes of practice and relevant standards.
