Job Description
The Support Worker - Cleaning will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of a safe and clean-living environment for residents and a work environment that is conducive to staff productivity, in alignment with appropriate standards.
This is a casual position that requires the individual to perform routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules, including mopping and vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, waste management, restocking of supplies, collection of soiled linen and clothing as required.

* Operate mechanical cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, steam cleaners, and hard floor scrubbers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in cleaning tasks, knowledge and experience in safe chemical handling (desirable), completion of cleaning tasks according to infection control and occupational health and safety requirements, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
You will also need to demonstrate a desire to join an organization committed to the care of others, prioritize workloads, commit to continuous quality improvement, and have experience in Aged Care (desirable).
