Job Description
The Trustee for New Motel Group Unit Trust Mercure Pakenham now needs another talented and dedicated suitably experienced pastry cook to produce our bakery and patisserie product range. Benefits Task & responsibilities Prepare, season and cook pastries as directed including moulding/mixing Mixing, cutting, moulding and shaping dough and pastry goods and preparing pastry fillings Operating ovens to produce consistent, high quality bakery products Communicating and coordinating with other bakers and sections Maintaining a safe and clean workplace Follow recipes and presentation specifications Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities Train apprentices and other kitchen staff Recording food temperature menu planning and meal costing experience.
Qualification & experience Minimum Cert III in patisserie or similar Ability to work under pressure Minimum 3 years of work experience in related environment.
