The GUARDS Clinical Trial is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Australian arm of the study, investigating whether dexamethasone can improve survival and recovery in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).

Your Key Responsibilities

* To oversee all aspects of the trial, from ethics and site setup to patient recruitment, data collection, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
* To ensure high-quality research outcomes that shape ICU care globally.

About You
">
You must have a background in clinical or health research, a proven track record in project delivery, and excellent organisation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

Requirements
">
* A postgraduate qualification or equivalent in health/public health/research.
* Strong experience coordinating multi-site clinical trials, ideally in ICU or hospital settings.
* Familiarity with GCP, NHMRC research ethics, and trial governance.
