THE OPPORTUNITY Due to continued growth, a newly created full-time opportunity has become available for an experienced Tax Advisor to join the firm’s specialist advisory division. This role sits within a dedicated team focused on delivering high-level taxation advice to a diverse client base. You will provide strategic guidance across complex tax and estate matters, working closely with internal stakeholders and senior leadership to deliver technically sound and commercially relevant advice. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Draft detailed Capital Gains Tax (CGT) advice Prepare written advice on complex tax and estate planning matters Research, analyse and interpret Australian tax legislation Provide solutions to complex tax issues for clients Assist with implementation of agreed advisory strategies Conduct technical tax research to support specialist opinions Collaborate with internal accounting and advisory teams EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Relevant degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Law Minimum 5 years’ experience in a tax advisory role Experience within legal practice or public practice highly regarded Strong working knowledge of Australian tax legislation Commitment to completing CA, CPA or Chartered Tax Advisor qualifications Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability Excellent written and verbal communication skills THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Exposure to complex and varied advisory engagements Ongoing professional development and structured career progression Study leave and financial support for CA, CPA or CTA programs Direct coaching and mentorship from senior leaders and Partners Collaborative and supportive team culture Competitive remuneration aligned with experience Please note: This job is based in Australia therefore, only candidates who are permanent residents or citizens of Australia or NZ will be considered.
