**HSE Professional - Goldfields Mining Region**
Emeco is seeking a dedicated HSE professional to support site operations in the Goldfields mining region. Working closely with the Maintenance Superintendent, HSE Manager, and their teams, this role will provide proactive advice and hands-on assistance to drive improvements in all aspects of HSE performance and culture.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting maintenance teams on HSE matters, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively operate on their sites;
* Developing effective working relationships through consultation and engagement with regional maintenance teams;
* Providing regular HSE KPI activity reporting to communicate progress against HSE plans and key objectives;
* Assisting in the implementation of HSE tools and processes;
* Supporting incident investigations, including managing incident sites, gathering evidence, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented within agreed time-frames;
* Monitoring compliance with SMP thorough audits and inspections;
* Supporting injury management processes and return-to-work coordination;
* Maintaining training and induction records for the region;
* Developing, reviewing, and updating training packages;
* Ensuring employees and contractor personnel comply with site and company health, safety, and training standards.
**Requirements:**
* Cert IV or Diploma in Health & Safety;
* Prior experience in a similar role (mining mobile equipment exposure preferable);
* Cert IV in Training & Assessment;
* Effective organisational and influencing skills;
* Strong safety leadership focus, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
