Upper South Creek Network Project – Supporting Western Sydney's Growth
Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The primary objective of this position is to manage all controlled documents to ensure information in use is up to date.
The role:
* Ensure all version-controlled documents are registered, distributed, and up to date for use.
* Manage incoming and outgoing project contract correspondence, including registration and filing.
* Assist with the red line markup process for amended version-controlled documents, especially project drawings.
* Act as the key contact for the document control system, providing induction, assistance, and training.
* Inform the Project Quality Manager/Project Manager of any significant events or issues impacting project delivery, particularly related to document management and handover.
About you:
* Prior experience in a document control role, preferably in construction or engineering related industries.
* Demonstrable knowledge of the principles for management of version-controlled documents.
* Prior use of a document management system.
* Intermediate to advanced computer literacy – (Microsoft Suite).
* Developed written and verbal communication skills.
* Current driver's license.
