Our Finance Graduate Program is open to candidates based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) and Naarm (Melbourne), commencing on 8 February 2027. This is an 18-month full-time program that offers multiple rotations and exposure within your chosen field. From day one, you will be a permanent full-time employee and will have a permanent role upon completion. What You'll Do
* Build your financial acumen and gain a comprehensive understanding of the key role Finance plays at Australia's largest insurer
* Complete three rotations across nine areas, spanning core finance and accounting operations (Group Finance, Group Tax, Retail Insurance Australia Finance, Intermediated Insurance Australia Finance and finance specialist functions, Reinsurance, Corporate Strategy, Investments, Capital Markets, Internal Audit)
* Prepare internal and external reports, including Executive reporting to support business performance and decision making
* Contribute to the preparation of IAG Group Annual Budgets and Forecasts, supporting planning cycles and ongoing performance tracking
* Assist with expense management and associated reporting and contribute to IAG Statutory and Regulatory reporting requirements
* Collaborate with Finance teams on a range of BAU activity and projects, including data analysis, information gathering and stakeholder engagement and assist with risk management practices, including control testing
What You'll Bring
* A university degree or higher (graduated in 2024-2025) or be in your penultimate year of university with graduation expected by the end of 2026 – ideally from Business or Economics (majors in finance, accounting, corporate strategy, economics) disciplines
* A credit average achievement (65%+)
* Australian and/or New Zealand citizen, or you hold valid work rights in Australia for the duration of the program
* A driven, enthusiastic, team-focused mindset
* Ability to work 2-3 days per week in the Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2 Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne) office
