About the position
Located in Port Stephens, The Anchorage Hotel & Spa offers luxurious accommodation from spacious rooms to mezzanine-style loft suites and an exclusive villa. To assist with meeting our impeccable standards we are currently seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Supervisor. This position is focused on maintaining a high standard of presentation across our 5 star standard property, while assisting the Executive Housekeeper with the supervision of team members. Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Provide direction and supervision to the Housekeeping team
* Drive the productivity, motivation and development of the team
* Ensure company guidelines and work, health & safety practices are maintained
* Ensure room cleanliness standards exceed guest expectations
* Monitor labour costs and productivity output according to occupancy levels
This position will require availability across a 7 day roster between the hours of 8.30am and 2.30pm, as well as the ability to work 1 afternoon shift per week from 4pm-8pm.
About you
We are a seeking a hands-on and passionate leader, with the ability to support diverse teams. You will have demonstrated experience working in housekeeping position within a minimum 4/5 star hotel setting. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, a genuine commitment to guest service, and excellent attention to detail (which doesn’t slip in a highly pressurised and demanding position!).
