As a Registered Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their families. Our Women's Health Unit is a 43 bed post/antenatal/gynecology ward with 7 birthing suite rooms. Supporting this service is a 7 bed level 2 Special Care Nursery.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide antenatal and post-natal midwifery services
* Work effectively in a supportive team
* Advocate for and implement individualised patient centred care
* Demonstrate a professional manner when working with complex situations
We are looking for an expert midwife who is committed to excellence, has extensive skills in post-partum care and birth unit as well as a passion for delivery of woman centred care.
The successful candidate will have:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
* Minimum of three years' relevant post registration qualifications
* Demonstrated experience working in the provision of antenatal and post-natal midwifery services
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of quality improvement initiative using research principles to support evidence-based practice
