Our marketing team is growing. We have been tasked with amplifying our storytelling of our city's most unforgettable experiences. In pursuit of our mission, Experience Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager, Media with a strong focus on ecommerce performance to lead our integrated media strategies across digital and traditional channels, ensuring our campaigns not only inspire audiences but deliver measurable results for the visitor economy.
What you'll do
* Lead the development of integrated brand and ecommerce-focused media strategies that align with EGC's brand, destination, and commercial objectives.
* Translate broader business goals into actionable media plans across paid search, social, programmatic, display, video, OOH, TV, radio, print, and more.
* Manage day-to-day relationships with media buying, SEO, analytics, and creative agencies to deliver ecommerce and destination brand campaigns on time, on budget, and with tactical agility.
* Oversee campaign implementation and optimisation with a strong emphasis on ecommerce and destination consideration performance, using real-time data, audience insights, and creative testing.
* Stay ahead of media trends, platform innovations, and consumer behaviours to ensure campaigns remain fresh and effective.
* Collaborate across tourism, events, arts, and education sectors to ensure strategies support objectives while being understood, endorsed, and seamlessly integrated.
* Lead and mentor a Digital Performance Manager, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
* 5+ years' experience delivering integrated media campaigns across digital and traditional channels, with a strong track record of ecommerce performance.
* Proven ability to manage large budgets and optimise multi-channel investment for maximum ROI.
* Strong data literacy and experience with analytics platforms, programmatic advertising, and campaign optimisation.
* A track record of collaborating with creative, media, SEO, and analytics partners to deliver insight-driven campaigns.
* Exceptional organisational skills to juggle multiple campaigns while maintaining quality and results.
