**The Role**
As the Logistics Data Integrity and Disposals Coordinator, you will work within a small logistics team of specialists providing Logistics Data management, governance and assurance oversight supporting Navy Aviation platforms.
Key duties of this role are:
- Disposal activities of assets and inventory;
- Logistics Data management - NATO codification, maintenance, collaboration with Defence capabilities and archiving;
- Inventory Management and Logistics Inventory Management System (LIMS) support including; transfers, adjustments and user support. Systems include MILIS & SAP;
- Compliance and Assurance activities including; routine Dashboard performance activities, supporting logistics audits for ANAO, Defence, Joint Logistics Command (JLC) and Air Systems Division (ASD); and
- Liaise with operators, warehouse, industry partners, Defence platforms and other stakeholders (including museums, trials units, foreign Defence forces and overseas support entities).
**About our Team**
The Logistics Governance Section (LGS) is a part of the Navy Aviation System Program Office (NASPO) business unit.
We support the following Navy Aviation capabilities and projects for the Royal Australian Navy:
- MH-60R (Helicopter)
- Maritime Aviation Support Unit (MASU)
- Maritime Unmanned Aerial Systems (MUAS)
- Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS)
- Navy Army Aviation Acquisition Program Office (NA3PO)
The Logistics Governance Section at NASPO is looking for a high performing individual with asset and inventory management and/or technical assessor experience to be a part of a small but dynamic team working within an interesting and rewarding environment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Logistics experience with assets and inventory - within an aviation environment is highly desirable;
- Experience or have worked with aviation technical assessors/staff (Mechanical or Avionics) is desirable but not essential;
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with a customer focus;
- Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems (Defence uses MILIS and is transitioning to a SAP product); and
- Data analysis and auditing experience would be an advantage.
