The Role
Our Perth office is seeking strong litigators with 2 - 6+ years' experience who are keen to work on some of the largest and most complex matters in Australia and internationally. While this role sits in our Perth office, you will be joining an integrated Global Disputes team of more than 200 lawyers in 27 offices worldwide.
We are seeking candidates with:
* a strong background in litigation gained at a well-regarded firm, particularly general commercial litigation, regulatory litigation and construction and/or projects litigation;
* an excellent academic transcript;
* an ability to confidently communicate with others across the firm and a pragmatic, friendly and down-to-earth approach; and
* a commitment to working in a team.
Our Australian Global Disputes team services high-end, high-value and strategically significant litigation work for leading global and Australian clients.
Our Global Disputes team have recently acted on:
* High value and strategically significant contract/commercial disputes and arbitrations across a range of sectors.
* Large scale, transnational construction matters, across infrastructure sectors, energy and renewables.
* Contentious regulatory matters involving Australian and global regulators and agencies including ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC, ACCC, ATO, AFP and the CDPP.
* Class action defence and resolution.
* Sensitive internal investigations for major corporate clients spanning fraud, corruption and misconduct allegations.
