With an additional new franchise joining Busselton Motor Group, an exciting opportunity exists for a self-starter to join our award-winning multi-franchise dealership as a Service Advisor. The suitable candidate will earn $70,000-$80,000 per year plus the use of a company vehicle, bonus incentives, and the possibility of a 9-day fortnight.
Duties include:
Work closely with the Service Department Manager to ensure the successful operation of the service department including management all day-to-day operations in a busy workshop.
Ensure workshop is operating at optimum capacity liaising with Parts to meet timelines.
Ascertain automotive issues by listening to customer's description of symptoms, clarifying problems, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers including explanation of provisions and exclusions to the customer.
Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour and calculating customer's required payment.
Prepare repair orders by detailing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required while obtaining approvals and inputting into system.
Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle, obtaining customer's approval of estimates, answering questions, and arranging towing and temporary transportation if required.
