With an additional new franchise joining Busselton Motor Group, an exciting opportunity exists for a self-starter to join our award-winning multi-franchise dealership as a Service Advisor. The suitable candidate will earn $70,000-$80,000 per year plus the use of a company vehicle, bonus incentives, and the possibility of a 9-day fortnight.
Duties include:
* Work closely with the Service Department Manager to ensure the successful operation of the service department including management all day-to-day operations in a busy workshop.
* Ensure workshop is operating at optimum capacity liaising with Parts to meet timelines.
* Ascertain automotive issues by listening to customer\'s description of symptoms, clarifying problems, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
* Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers including explanation of provisions and exclusions to the customer.
* Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour and calculating customer\'s required payment.
* Prepare repair orders by detailing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required while obtaining approvals and inputting into system.
* Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle, obtaining customer\'s approval of estimates, answering questions, and arranging towing and temporary transportation if required.
