A high-performing Construction Director who can lead project teams to meet, and exceed, client expectations.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Director to join our team. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading project teams to achieve project financial forecasting, program management, and OHSEQ processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project teams to continually meet, and where possible exceed, client expectations, whilst ensuring the construction process is controlled and adheres to strict safety, quality, programme, and financial objectives.
* Managing the construction team where there are typically anywhere from 10-20 projects in construction concurrently (Project values range from $300k to $15m each).
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve and exceed expected outcomes for clients.
* Direct the tracking and control of construction schedules and associated costs for achieving project completion within the budget and time allotted.
* Ensure accountability of all project activities as well as the accurate and timely reporting of financial deliverables and obligations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Highly motivated and dynamic lateral thinker.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and inspire effective project teams.
* Extensive construction experience, minimum 15 years in Project/Construction Management.
* A true valuation of quality and commitment to delivering what is promised.
