Delivery Driver Position Available
* Key Responsibilities:
* Delivery: Safely transport and deliver a variety of goods to customers' homes in a timely and efficient manner.
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any delivery issues.
* Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that delivery vehicles are kept clean, maintained, and in good working order. Report any vehicle issues to the management team.
* Route Adherence: Plan and follow the route to ensure timely deliveries, using navigation tools consistently.
* Order Handling: Accurately load and unload goods, verify delivery contents against orders, and handle items with care to prevent damage.
* Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while on duty.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Valid Driver's License: Possess a Full Australian driver's license.
* Local Residency: Must be a resident of the Illawarra region.
* Clean Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal background check.
* Clean Driving Record: Demonstrated history of safe driving with no consistent driving offences.
* Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
* Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple deliveries, and solve problems efficiently.
* Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting and carrying packages of varying sizes and weights.
* Tech Savvy: Familiarity with navigation systems and basic technology used in delivery operations.
