About the role
MSS Security is looking for casual Retail Security Officers to join our team at Stockland, Rockhampton. In this role, you will help ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and property.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Conduct routine patrols and on-site inspections to uphold safety standards.
* Deliver a strong, visible deterrent against theft and antisocial behaviour.
* Respond rapidly and professionally to security incidents and escalate when needed.
* Collaborate confidently with team members and site personnel.
* Maintain accurate reports, logs, and complete basic digital documentation.
Requirements
* Full Australian Working Rights
* Current QLD Security Licence (Unarmed, Monitoring, Crowd Control)
* Certificate II in security operations (Or higher)
* Driver's Licence
* Valid First Aid and CPR (Or Willing to obtain)
* Experience in retail or customer-facing roles (Highly Desirable)
