Head of Department - Business (With the ability to teach Economics/Accounting)
We seek an experienced and passionate academic leader who:
- Has the ability and skills in steering Middle & Senior School Business/Economics/Accounting teachers within a highly acclaimed team.
- Has an excellent understanding of QCE syllabus requirements.
- Has a passion for designing and delivering engaging curriculum within a contemporary learning framework.
- Is experienced and confident in differentiating the curriculum and fostering a culture of inclusive practices and reflection for the enhancement of their department.
- Is a positive, energetic and collaborative academic leader and is committed to continuous improvement of educational outcomes.
- Has strong assessment and reporting skills, including maintaining accurate records and communicating student progress to both students and families.
- Has a track record of positive engagement with students, parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
- Upholds high standards of professional conduct, integrity, and teamwork.
- Is committed to supporting student wellbeing.
- Current Queensland College of Teacher Registration.
