**About this Position**:
Join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality design solutions across Council. The Design Officer plays a pivotal role within Council's Design team, contributing to the efficient delivery of design services. This position is primarily responsible for collating survey data and providing design construction plans for Council's Capital Works program.

**What we trust you to deliver**:
- Collate survey data and provide design construction plans for Council's capital works program
- Utilise engineering standards, principles and best practice ranging from conception stage to finalised design plans including but not limited to roads and drainage, carparks, recreational facilities, water supply, sewerage services, open spaces and associated infrastructure.
- Project manage pre-construction activities incorporating geometric, pavement design and associated cost estimates, service relocations identification, review of environmental factors, advice to residents and setting appropriate specifications.
**What you will need to be successful**:
- Surveying/Engineering Diploma level qualification or willingness to obtain
- Relevant commercial work experience
- WorkCover Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
- Current Class C Drivers Licence

**Full Time**:70 hours per fortnight
**Salary**: From $1,349.60 (Grade 10 Entry) per week+ superannuation
