The Team
Our Insurance and Corporate Risk group is a leader in the Australian legal market. The Role
As a mid‑to‑senior level lawyer, you will collaborate closely with our partners and play a key role in managing client relationships and team development. Your primary focus will be acting for defendants in personal injury claims—particularly abuse claims—but you will also handle public liability, workers’ compensation appeals, property damage, policy interpretation, coverage litigation and general insurance and contractual matters. You will build close relationships with clients across construction, resources, agribusiness, property ownership, not‑for‑profit, technology and infrastructure, and refine your business‑development skills.
Experience
We seek a driven and technically excellent lawyer with a minimum of three years post‑admission experience. A passion for insurance law and a clear ambition to advance in this field are essential. A background in personal injury claims, particularly on the defendant side, is required; we are also open to candidates with plaintiff experience who wish to transition.
