Group Reservations Professional
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill this key role. As a Group Reservations Executive, you will be responsible for identifying guest needs, recommending appropriate room types, and explaining rates, guarantees, and policies.
About You
To succeed in this position, you must possess a passion for the hospitality industry, relevant experience in Reservations and/or Group Reservations similar roles, and full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available). You should also be enthusiastic about career growth, self-motivated, driven, and energized in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify guest requirements, suggest suitable room categories, and explain rates, guarantees, and hotel policies
* Handle special requests and provide detailed information about hotel amenities and services
* Maximize revenue through effective sales techniques and accurate data entry into the reservation system
* Be available for ad-hoc site inspections and other duties requiring on-premises presence
* Resolve guest issues or escalate as necessary, documenting concerns as required
* Support training, scheduling, and coaching of team members while serving as a role model
* Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and adhere to Marriott service standards
* Foster strong relationships with guests and colleagues through clear communication and genuine service
* Occasionally support operations at other Marriott properties as needed
