The Red Bull Event Vehicle is a highly modified Land Rover Defender fitted with CDJ's, mixer, speakers, microphones, screens and other features. As our Event Vehicle Specialist, you’ll work with our Event Vehicle team to assist deliver the EV program across Western Australia. You'll be the friendly face (and soundtrack) of Red Bull on the road. Your mission is to create unforgettable moments and build genuine connections with local communities.
You will be responsible for supporting the state sales & marketing team in ensuring executional excellence; finding current opportunities; product availability to drive trial; providing feedback on venue/outlet execution; and supporting event operations.
The workload will be approximately
10-20 hours per week
and must be available to work on weekends.
Responsibilities
Manage an exciting consumer-facing event vehicle program.
Work cross-functionally to support a variety of Red Bull events with the event vehicle, plan and report on success in a timely manner.
Identify new opportunities to use the EV in a productive manner, supporting all business functions and aligning with the state & national strategic focuses.
Support 3rd party events with the EV, from planning and liaising with organisers to on-site support.
Keep the can at the heart of the EV program – always having cold cans at arm's reach. Create an exciting social following for the EV, plan and capture local images, stories and activities to build our local face and tell the story of the EV on our managed social channels.
Find opportunities to excite our consumers using the EV, targeting 18‑24 year olds in our focus playgrounds/audiences. Work creatively and innovatively with the EV to spot opportunities, proactively collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to realise them, and create great Instagrammable moments.
Manage service schedules for the EV, ensuring all staff that operate vehicles have completed necessary training. Conduct regular vehicle audits to proactively identify and rectify required repairs or servicing needs.
Source DJs who can be used on a contractor basis for vehicle operations when needed and update the state marketing planner to give a transparent annual overview of all event & EV commitments.
Qualifications
Must have availability to work weekends.
Must have a valid Australian driver’s license, C class (manual).
Exceptional organisation, time management and people management skills.
Ability to adapt to challenging situations and make important decisions quickly.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
DJ experience – comfortable using CDJ 900/2000s & DJM 750 Mixer.
