Adecco Australia is currently recruiting for multiple ongoing roles across steel manufacturing sites in Adelaide’s western and northern suburbs. Positions are available at Novar Gardens, Gillman, and O'Sullivan’s Beach, with day, afternoon, and night shifts on offer (site-dependent).
This is a great opportunity to join well-established manufacturing sites, working with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries.
Join the Action on the Floor
- Forklift operation – loading/unloading trucks & vehicles
- Moving products from production line to yard
- Machine operation, mill operations & production line support
- Order picking & packing
- Manual handling of steel products
- Stock processing & cutting orders (Gillman site)
- Basic computer operation
- General labouring within heavy industry environments
What Makes a Great Candidate
- Current Forklift License (desirable)
- Mechanically minded motivated individuals, with strong problem-solving skills
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
- Open to learning and flexible across different roles
- Physically fit for heavy industry work
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Reliable and committed to Monday–Friday shifts
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening
Shifts & Pay Information
Novar Gardens (Machine & Forklift Operators) set shifts, no rotations
- Day: 6:30AM–2:30PM | $32.32/hr
- Afternoon: 2:30PM–10:30PM | $37.16/hr
- Night: 10:30PM–6:30AM | $40+/hr
Gillman (Storeperson / Forklift Operators) set shifts, no rotations
- Day: 6:00AM–2:00PM | $32.32/hr
- Afternoon: 2:00PM–10:00PM | $36.19/hr
- Duties include cutting orders, picking/packing, stock handling, forklift & crane use
O'Sullivan's Beach (Machine Operators) rotating weekly shifts
- Weekly rotating shifts (Day & Afternoon)
- Day: 6:20AM–3:07PM | $32.32/hr
- Afternoon: 2:54PM–11:41PM | $37.16/hr
