We’re seeking a Finance Business Partner who goes beyond the numbers—someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and brings deep expertise in stakeholder engagement and financial modelling. As part of our high-performing Financial Planning and Reporting team, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making and shape services that benefit our community. What You’ll Do build strong, trusted relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across Councillead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes with precision and insightdeliver high-quality financial modelling to support business cases and strategic initiativespartner with operational teams to drive financial performance and accountabilitytranslate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support a sustainable and liveable city We’re Looking For Someone With CPA, CA or equivalent tertiary qualificationsextensive experience in business partnering across multiple stakeholders and departmentsadvanced financial modelling skills, including scenario analysis and cost-benefit evaluationstrong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and persuasivelya strategic mindset and a passion for using finance to enable better outcomes for the community This is more than a finance role—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our city through smart, data-driven decisions.
