The Role
Join HMR as an experienced Diamond Driller for surface or underground work. Operate rigs, hit production targets, and earn metre-based bonuses—the more you drill, the higher your pay. FIFO or residential in Kalgoorlie.
* Rosters: 7/7, 14/7 & 14/14
* Competitive hourly rates + bonus potential
* Full-time, permanent roles
* Residential in Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Major Cities
* Underground and surface work available
* Accommodation & meals provided
Responsibilities
* Operate HMR drill rigs (Skid Steer, Mobile, Longyear, LM90, LM110, UDR1000/1200, LF90D)
* Understand geological formations and core sampling methods
* Mentor and train Drill Assistants
* Perform daily checks & maintenance on rigs
* Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and site rules
Qualifications / Requirements
* Pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening
* Police clearance within 6 months
* First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
* Manual Driver's Licence (underground) / HR Licence (surface)
* Cert II/III in Drilling Operations (Cert IV highly regarded)
