About the OPPORTUNITY
This is a Permanent Full Time position on the Dialysis Unit at Kalgoorlie Health Campus.
Gaburu Dialysis Unit
This is a stand-alone dialysis service provided at Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital for patients with end stage renal disease from across the region. Treatment is provided by Registered Nurses six days per week, with access to local Physicians and the services of a visiting Nephrologist. The unit currently has seven chairs which enable it dialyse up to 28 patients three times weekly. Staff also provide care to patients in the region undergoing Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis in conjunction with the Home Dialysis Unit at Royal Perth Hospital
Key responsibilities include:
The primary responsibility of a Clinical Nurse Manager is to provide advanced clinical patient care and managerial leadership through specialised knowledge in area of nursing at Kalgoorlie Health Campus.
They will also provide advanced clinical knowledge and support to promote the delivery of best – practice, evidenced – based nursing care according to standards of practice in nursing at Kalgoorlie Health Campus.
