Curatorial Officer - Video Game Preservation and Digital Archiving
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Curatorial Officer to join our team in the preservation and sharing of Australia's audiovisual heritage.
The National Film and Sound Archive is the custodian of Australia's analogue and digital national audiovisual collection, containing over four million items. Our mandate is to collect, preserve, and share the remarkable story of the Australian audiovisual experience through film, television, radio, recorded sound, online media, video games, and associated documentation and ephemera.
As a Curatorial Officer, you will be responsible for managing and acquiring contemporary Australian video games and interactive media, contributing to curatorial projects and acquisition programs, conducting thorough research and analysis, and assisting in developing and updating curatorial policies and guidelines.
