Registered Nurse – We’re currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse to join a warm and supportive team in Bendigo. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and clinical standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care, monitoring changes in health and wellbeing
- Administer medications safely and maintain accurate documentation of all treatments and care provided
- Coordinate and supervise care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure best practice
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams regarding care needs and updates
- Maintain compliance with aged care regulations, quality standards, and infection control procedures
- Support end-of-life care with compassion and dignity
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes within the facility
- Participate in resident care reviews, handovers, and case conferences
- Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors
Key Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years Aged Care RN experience in Australia
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of aged care standards, medication administration, and infection control
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with respect for resident dignity
Qualifications and Experience
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years Aged Care RN experience in Australia
