Business Analyst Position

Key Responsibilities:
* Product Validation: Collaborate with the Product Development department to assess the commercial viability of new products, focusing on target pricing, costs, margin expectations, and forecasts.
* Performance Analysis: Analyse the progress of new and existing products, identifying performance against targets, market trends, and return on investment. Use this information to inform future planning decisions.
* Stock Management: Review stock levels versus turnover, identify slow-moving items, and propose corrective actions to mitigate risk. Influence the phase-out of obsolete lines and develop strategies to manage stock levels effectively.
* Market Data Gathering: Work with the external sales team to gather reliable market data for launching new products and reviewing existing product performance. Develop and maintain effective methods for storing and analysing relevant market information.
* System Maintenance: Maintain and manage customer price files within the system, including promotions and pricing adjustments.
You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders across departments, including Product Development, Marketing, Purchasing, and Customer Services. Additionally, you will provide support for projects within the company to contribute to the overall business strategy.
