We’re looking for an experienced structural engineer ready to take on challenging and rewarding projects in our Melbourne office. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering innovative design solutions that balance functionality, safety, and sustainability.
From concept through to completion, you’ll provide technical leadership on complex projects, applying your skills to ensure structures are not only efficient and durable but also capable of standing up to the toughest environmental conditions.

In this role, you will:
- Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
- Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
- Prepare client reports.
Project management and compliance
- Assume responsibility for the management of small, medium and some large-scale projects including duties such as pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies– e.g. WHS practices and Quality Assurance.
- Check structural engineers’ work and provide technical guidance.
Who are we looking for
This role is ideally suited to someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Member of Engineers Australia, CPEng/NER
- At least 5 years’ experience in structural engineering
- Software: Etabs, Spacegass, RAM, RAPT
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to prioritise incoming work appropriately
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving/analytical skills
