Your Key Responsibilities
* Manage a defined client portfolio, delivering high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services.
* Lead client relationships — running strategic meetings, AGMs, tax planning sessions, and business mentoring conversations.
* Serve as the main point of contact for clients — owning the communication, advice, and relationship outcomes.
* Mentor, coach, and support your team members under your guidance to achieve aligned success.
* Collaborate with the Senior Production Manager to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of technical work.
* Identify opportunities to add value for clients through advisory, structuring, and proactive guidance.
* Contribute ideas to enhance client experience, streamline processes, and scale the firm sustainably.
The Specifics
Client Portfolio Ownership: Full autonomy to manage and grow trusted client relationships.
Tax and Business Services Expertise: Maintain high technical standards to support confident client discussions.
Location: Based in Subiaco, Perth, with hybrid WFH flexibility post-onboarding.
Remuneration: Competitive salary + bonuses + long-term profit-sharing potential.
Your Skills and Experience
7–15 years' experience in public practice accounting, with strong business services, tax and advisory exposure.
Solid technical foundation in Australian tax compliance and business operations — able to confidently discuss common client scenarios and liaise with the technical team.
Proven ability to independently manage client relationships and strategic conversations.
Experience mentoring or leading team members to achieve technical and client service excellence.
Strong interpersonal skills — proactive communicator, solution-oriented advisor, relationship builder.
Highly proficient in Xero and savvy with new cutting-edge software and solutions.
Passionate about continuous improvement — personally, professionally, and for clients.
